Since Kari is out of town, I went to dinner with 2 guys who work with students at NorthWood.  We at a Dutch’s, a burger joint on the TCU campus, named after a former football coach. Here is one of his quotes:

To translate that into something relevant for a Christian, it would say:

Fight against sin until it seems like hell has frozen over, then keep fighting because there is still some hell under the ice.
