Are Your Efforts Worthy?

For the Worship Leader

Was this past Sunday the best you could do?

You picked songs, rehearsed, used all the relevant media…. did you just go through the motions, or painstakingly plan and pray through the process?

Your church has paid the whole worship ministries salary, footed the bill for the building to meet in, entrusted you with the leadership to lead them in worship, and took the effort to get out of bed on a Sunday morning…. was your planning and execution worthy of the trust they have given you?

For the Worshiper

You just finished a week of work and life… was it the best you could do?

From a global perspective, your boss paid you a lucrative salary, your spouse depended on you, and your children looked up to you…did you give them all they deserve?

The Lord has given you ALL that you have, rescued you from the penalty of sin, forgiven the sin that you still choose on a daily basis, and given you blessings upon blessings…have  you honored him with all your life?

No one is perfect.  But is it not okay to treat our responsibilities and call as unimportant.
