Obedience is the "free-est" place to be - when I know I have obeyed God, even though I didn't want to - it is pure exhilaration! Someone once told me, and i have never forgotten it - "we don't obey because we fear the consequences of our obedience" We think up all these things that will happen, in our eyes bad things, if we do what God calls us to do. However, if HE has called us to do it - then they aren't consequences really - they are the continued fulfillment of His plans. "Do not be afraid.... Be strong and courageous" YES!!!!
